Wales Head Coach

Welsh Netball is looking for a passionate and committed individual to lead the senior Wales netball team. We are looking for an inspirational leader with an athlete-centred approach who has previous experience of developing talent. With an open and inclusive leadership style, the role holder will plan and deliver the new 5 Year Performance Plan in alignment with the organisations strategic aims for the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Workforce Development Co-ordinator

Welsh Netball is looking for a self-motivated individual who will support the organisation in achieving the Vision and strategic goals.

The overall purpose of this role is to oversee and implement Welsh Netball’s Workforce Development Plan. The role has a national responsibility for workforce development and will work closely with the Head of Community Development as the strategic lead.

Events & Competitions Officer

Welsh Netball is looking for a self-motivated individual who will support the organisation in achieving the Vision and strategic goals.

The role is responsible for the effective planning and efficient execution of all Welsh Netball’s events and competitions with the aim of providing high quality experiences. The role will lead successful delivery of the elite competition calendar which includes high profile, televised Netball Super League games, international fixtures and national finals.

In alignment with the findings of an independent competitions review, the role holder will look to create new events aimed at increasing participation and broadening engagement with the wider netball community.

Wales Team Manager

Welsh Netball is looking for a self-motivated and efficient individual to support the Wales squad, Head Coach, Assistant Coach and wider support team, to enable all to perform to their very best.

The Wales senior squad require a well organised and flexible individual, to ensure the needs of the training programmes are in place and to successfully coordinate, manage and deliver the teams logistics, facilities and to be the point of contact for all Wales arrangements.

This is voluntary role has enormous potential for growth and development for the right individual.

Development and Performance Panels

As part of Welsh Netball’s ongoing governance journey, we are inviting expressions of interest from those who would like to join our Performance and Development Panels. These panels will review, support and advise on matters relating to their area of focus and further information on this can be found in Appendix 2 (Development Panel) and Appendix 6 (Performance Panel) of Welsh Netball’s byelaws, which can be downloaded below.

These positions are voluntary and will include quarterly meetings.
