We are looking for a driven and passionate person to lead elite performance at Welsh Netball. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for the right person to drive systemic change over the next 4 years and lead the sport to Commonwealth Games 2022 and World Cup 2023 success.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Performance will play a critical part in creating and achieving Welsh Netball’s new performance vision for 2023 and onwards. With a new structure and new team of staff, you will, look to deliver successful Commonwealth Games 2022 and World Cup 2023 campaigns. Understanding the Superleague franchise will be critical in order to deliver Welsh success.
This role will lead, manage and develop a coherent, cohesive and sustainable performance pathway for all netball activity across Wales. The role will also oversee the development and delivery of the performance pathway for athletes, coaches, umpires and officials. This exciting position will lead and develop relationships with all key partners such as Netball Europe, International Netball Federation, Sport Wales and Commonwealth Games Council Wales.
An effective leader, you will have demonstrable success of achieving in elite sport at the highest level. You will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and be a strategic thinker with the stamina and resilience to ensure we are at the forefront of systems and innovations.

Responsible for the efficient functioning of the National Governing Body through a range of administrative, financial and managerial tasks. This includes management of business contracts, assisting with financial processes, invoicing, dealing with membership queries, management of office support services including, calendarisation of business-critical meetings, phone, email, meeting room management and post.
